It's 52 with a 8mph wind. Only 80% humidity and I'm brewing two batches and have a brisket in the smoker. Ha you got the stuff that hit me yesterday. Only a Floridian would complain at 22 above freezing.  ;D But I respect your motivation.

That wind had a bite don't it? :o

5" of snow in the Palmetto State as of 7:00am. Supposed to do this all day then turn into freezing rain for the night.

We're screwed.

High of 35 today.

100% chance of snow tonight and tomorrow.

1988 all over again...let's hope not.

No power for 6 days last time. :'(

So you didn't buy a generator after the storm in 1998?  First thing I did the summer after the 2008 Ice Storm in New England.  We were without power for 6 days as well.  Used it in Feb 2010 when the wind storms came through and knocked out power for 2 days.  Best investment I've ever made.

Expecting snow on Wednesday but the weather guys won't commit because they've been way off all season.  This past Saturday we were supposed to get 6 inches of snow but I could have used a broom to clean my driveway.

Every ice/snow we have the power goes out.  Every ice/snow we have a promise is made that a generator will be purchased.

I'm really going to do it this time ::)

It is funny. The temp falls below 70 and you see parkas and snow boots. After living in Duluth, Minnesota I will never complain of winter weather being too cold here.

I can't figure out why people live in those climates by choice.  The last winter I lived in Cincinnati people were walking across the Ohio River.  Do you have any idea how cold it has to be and for how long to freeze the Ohio River solid?
I try not to complain much when working in Tampa's Winter, although it's supposed to be in the thirties later this week.
Yesterday was a beautiful day to brew - sunny and lower 60's.

Well it was beautiful during that one month of summer.

...and no I have no idea how long and cold it would have to be, but I bet very to both.
