I posted a couple days ago about mixing .5# of roasted barley in my IPA grain bill, at the LHBS. I got all picked out that I reasonably could. The brew is under way, but I now seem to have a black IPA. Oh well. I'm still making beer, eh?
How can have a Black Pale ale?
I didn't know you actually brewed beer
Keith, do drunk you think you is?And weaze, most beer styles were mistakes... Stout for example, imagine the cheap bastard that burned his barley and made beer with it anyway. Post pics, I'm interested.

Just doesn't make sense. How can something be Black and Pale? The term "pale ale" came about because the beers were not brown or black.
