A friend of mine does a beer periodically called "Black Perle" DIPA and it pretty much has one of the dumbest hop schedules I've ever seen. (The full recipe can be found in the

2.00 ounces Chinook (14.3 percent AA) Whole—for 90 minutes
1.00 ounce Perle (13.0 percent AA) Pellet—for 90 minutes
0.15 ounce Cascade (6.8 percent AA) Whole—for 60 minutes
0.15 ounce Chinook (14.3 percent AA) Whole—for 60 minutes
0.15 ounce Cascade (6.8 percent AA) Whole—for 55 minutes
0.15 ounce Chinook (14.3 percent AA) Whole—for 55 minutes
0.16 ounce Cascade (6.8 percent AA) Whole—for 50 minutes
