Easy Clean by LD Carlson with Stainless Steel
« on: March 11, 2011, 07:29:38 pm »
Just have a quick question to see if it is OK to use 'Easy Clean' by LD Carlson on stainless steel.  Just purchased some and wated to double check and make sure before I use.  If acceptable I will be using the cleaner on converted kegs.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Looks like some form of oxyclean to me. I don't see any problems using it on stainless steel unless it has any bleach in it. Check the ingredients list and if you have further questions, I'd call LD Carlson.

I used that cleaner on my SS brew kettle without any problems.

Save your money and buy oxyclean .

Yeah, just buy oxyclean.  I only used the Easy Clean because it came with my starter kit for brewing.  Once it was gone I went out and got oxyclean.
