I worked nights a few years back as a bobcat operator. Doing snow removal in mall parking lots and what not. I loved it. Though some of those nights got long and I was amazed at how I could operate that machine with only one eye, while the other one was sleeping.
Beer, its whats for dinner.

One of my favorite movies. Damn, Terry Gar was cute as hell.

She was definitely cute, but has the brain of a yeast cell. However, when you're rolling in the hay, who cares?

But yes, great movie.

Anyone on their way?  It's still here, keys still in it.  I think the rental company is using me for free storage until they need to deliver it somewhere else.  I put my kids in it and took pictures like they were driving it. ;D

I actually could use one... There's a spot in front of my house that needs to be graded, and I can't fit anything else in there. Redmond is a bit of a haul, though.

I just had 40 trucks of fill dumped on my lot - get over here - I'll pay you in cash and beer to grade it!  ;D

Bobcats were a great addition to the Saturday morning hog barn cleaning session.  Saved a ton of pitch fork time.  The tractor with a loader could only fit down the center of the building, the Bobcat could fit in the side isles.

The first Bobcats was built as a walk behind unit by a couple of guys who needed a small loader to do a particular job on their farm.  Necessity is the mother of invention.  Even with all the wheel waits in place they can get top heavy with the bucket all the way up.

I spent a lot of time on hay wagons growing up.  Bailing paid $8.50/hr, bean woalking only paid $6.50/hr.  I look back at how hard we worked on those jobs but I think it was easier than corporate IT.  Oh well, Merry Christmas!!!

Congratulations to whoever grabbed it around 7 this morning :)  I heard it but didn't look out the window, so as far as I know the rental company picked it up and I don't need to report it stolen. ;D
