Looking for cheap Corny keg around the Northern Delaware area. Any leads?

Doesn't really help you East Cost folks, but for anyone in the Northwest, fellow board member Tshmidlin has lots of cornys for sale at a great price.  I recently bought 8 from him.

So Tom's holding out on us east coasters eh?  ;D

I'm too lazy to ship, plus it's a waste of gas. ;D There should be plenty available in your area, right?

Actually corny kegs [ The soda kegs } are getting harder to come by.
Both brew stores I use  say the prices have gone up tp 50+$ each
due to the supply get short on used kegs. The soda companys have g
one to syrup in a bag , and there was a hint that a lot of tehm were being
shipped overseas.
I have for some at cornykeg.com for a resonable price and with shipping
still about 10$ cheaper than I can by from brew store .
not much been on craigslist in the Atlanta area lately.

Just keep checking craigslist. They're still out there at reasonable prices. I picked up 4 for $60 a couple months ago. They were very clean, I just replaced the o-rings, and they function perfectly. The trick is to stop looking after you have enough  ;) . Those last 4 were 4 more than fit in my kegerator, but two are sitting full waiting for a spot to open up.

I understand.

I was just surprised to hear that you were selling them. Unfortunately, both of the places on Craigslist are 3 hour + drives. Considering the price of gas and my time make it's impractical.

Thanks for the tips.  :)

I have a pepsi connection and pick them up by the truckload, then piece them out to local homebrewers for cheap.   I wouldn't expect you to drive even an hour to get them, but maybe if you were going on a roadtrip anyway . . . or knew someone in the area . . . I don't know, that's probably not anything you hadn't thought of already.

It might be worth it if you got a group together to buy a bunch of them . . .
