Out of town at the in-laws for xmas this weekend so no brewing.  Brewing up a pair of starters for a 10 gallon batch next weekend once I get back into town on Sunday.

haha - no I don't think that can be done successfully.  I've a friend who lives in the Colorado and he's been growing them for quite some time.  Figured what better way to showcase them than a huge hop-bomb.  Most of the bittering will come from commercially purchased hops, but will add 5 oz in the last 10min and then dryhop with another 2oz of these bad boys.

Nothing brewing, but I may spend Christmas Eve morning bottling my amber ale if i hit my FG.  If not, I'll leave it in the fermenter until monday.

I think I shall, I just haven't figure out "what." I have a few days off and not all of them are heavily scheduled. I may even do a Christmas morning brew session. Something small enough to brew on the range indoors, methinks. Easter barleywine? Belgian IPA?

Thanks!  That put me in a great mood for the day!

I'm brewing up an English IPA on Sunday while the kids are distracted with their new toys.  I already told my wife she is on package removal and assembly on Sunday until 2pm.  She smiled and mumbled something about it costing me dearly!

Anyway, I'm looking to age the EIPA until August and enjoy it in the fall.
