I'll be brewing a Double IPA this weekend.  I will have to wait until Sunday to brew due to all the baking and visiting I will be doing in the next couple of days.

No brewing for me, I'll be going to Portland.  Again.

Hilarious!  I'm going to have to share that link with my Portland friends (although it might overload their 28.8 bps modem connection).

No "Brewing" this weekend due to time constraints but I'll be knocking out a batch of Raspberry Cider on Sunday. I made a 2.5 G batch of this last month and we blew the keg last night. Need to make 5 gallons...STAT! It was awesome!!!

I'm not brewing this weekend but I have all next week off and will be brewing a couple.

I need to do some transferring this weekend though.  One to a keg and 2 into secondaries.  Maybe I can get that done between the 5:00PM Children's Mass (two of my kids are singing and playing instruments) and Mid-night Mass (wife is cantoring, oldest daughter is singing in the choir and I heard some mumbling about my son playing french horn at it).

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

LHBS was open this afternoon, so I got the grain and goodies for a half-batch of Fred Bonjour's Amarillo APA ( http://wiki.homebrewersassociation.org/AmarilloPaleAleBeerDuJour ) to do sometime this weekend after the holiday stuff winds down. Rain is projected so this may be a stovetop brew.

Brewed a British Bitter today using the West Yorkshire LE yeast.  Tomorrow I'm brewing a hefe and splitting the batch between WLP300 and 380, planning to blend.

Secondary: pale barleywine,
Bottled:  Gotlandsdricke

Did a batch on Christmas Eve.  I have high hopes for this one as there haven't been any obvious screw-ups yet.  Or at least not ones that I'm aware of so far.
Recipe, or a close approximation is on the Steeping Crystal Malt post I put on in Extract Brewing (and thank you once again to everyone for all their great advice - hence the no major screw ups).

Beer looks great, nice and cool with a wet blanket on it, probably 65 degrees.  Nice dark colour, can't wait until I get home from the in-laws to see how it's going.  Wish I could get it bottled in time for New Years but that won't happen.  So, I'll just drink something else.  I'm flexible.
