Planning to spend effort getting our new club established. Would love to build a brew stand to reduce my brewing time (cause it takes 47 trips to move stuff into position), but I'm told (by my daughter) that I need to cut down on my brew activities because she's getting married later this year and I need to work on the house - can you believe that? Ok, so the house does need some stuff done to it... maybe I can hire out for that. She also told me I need to sell my sports car to pay for the wedding - not gonna happen.
So then, I need to have some beers for NHC and to bring to club night, right? And then, folks coming from out of town for the wedding will be thirsty, so there's more brewing (even though 90% of them will probably drink bud light, or wine).
As far as what to brew, I am guilty of sticking too much to the same cycle of american ales, so I need to venture into Belgians and English styles. Lagers? maybe, but not a priority.
