The only burr grinder I have experience with is my Grindmaster which is a beast (see image earlier in thread). I do love it compared to the old Krups with a blade.

I have a Krups.  It gets the job done and we got it as a wedding present 23 years ago.  If ain't broke don't fix it I guess.  I roasted 8oz. of a wet hull Ecuadorian bean this afternoon on a beautiful day in Iowa.

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

I gave my daughter a Nesco roaster for Christmas, with the 8 pound sampler from SwetMaria's.  We also gave a friend a popcorn popper and 3 pounds of beans for her birthday, and I showed her how to do a batch with it yesterday, she was very happy I think.
This week we're drinking a nice Bolivian.  Has anybody seen any Venezuelan beans for sale lately, my source appears to have vanished.
