I brewed 1 gallon less than federal law allows.

I started brewing the last weekend of March. I brewed 26 times in 2010 for around 65 gallons. I was kind of all over the map, style wise, like a kid in a candy store. The first batch was an Irish Red, the last a Sweet Stout. I started doing lagers in August, and now plan to have at least one batch lagering at all times. It was quite a journey: started out extract, went partial mash in June and all grain in August, and started kegging in December. I've learned a whole lot along the way.

I found that I had inadvertently brewed a couple of quarts over the limit, so I filtered it and then ran it out on the ground before the end of last year. :D

So I'm not the only nutcase here.... ;) First batch mid November, straight to kegging, almost done with AG setup for batch number 6.....

There's plenty of nutjobs in this hobby... I've ony known 2 homebrewers who didnt get carried away... and I think that was only due to their primary hobbies taking up most of their time/$$.

Me too.  Variety is the spice of life.  I've only re-brewed a style/recipe a few times.  I like trying out new things all the time.  2010 saw Lazy Dog crank out 6 batches for around 31 gallons of finished beer - one batch short of my goal.  I did Blonde Ale, N. Eng. Brown, Old Ale, CAP, Cal. Common, and an Oktoberfest (my first lager).   However, I kept myself in beer which is the over-riding goal  8)

Nah, I am another nutcase. I started in Sept, when to AG on my third batch and went to kegging last month. I only have one tap on my kegorator, but I have room for 5 kegs, and 6 taps. (Gonna have that Stout tap, even if I don't have one on tap all the time)

I think it was about 20 batches, (including cider) around 120 gallons and of that, almost a quarter of it was stouts.   I think I brewed more this year than I did in all the years I did extract combined.  Glad I went all grain, so much better.  All grain and kegging changed me forever!  (and probably added 30 lbs!)

I did a lot of business travel, so was severely limited in brewing time. I did manage to brew in three different countries though...

My total comes out as:
15 batches of beer, totaling 90 gallons
60 gallons of cider
25 gallons of various wines

10 batches for 50 Gal.

Thought it was more - should have been, since I was kind of semi-retired (aka unnemployed) for most of the year. Another year of trying to perfect my recipes.

4 IPA
2 APA
2 Imperial Stout
2 Blonde

I brewed 16 batches of beer and a few small batches of mead (about 6 gallons in total).  Which amounts to around 90 gallons.

Only 30 gallons or so for 2010.  Having a newborn really takes away the brewing time.  I'm already at 13 gallons in 2011, so there still hope for me.
