Black IPA done.
« on: December 11, 2009, 06:40:34 pm »
The beer is done and carbed, and came out great. The roasted barley seemed to take away the citrus of the all Cascade hop bill. A good beer, which will definatly be brewed again, on purpose next time.

An IPA 15 days grain to glass? That was quick...  :o

There's a great oxymoronic tradition to modern beer names...hence we call a 4% beer "stout", a rather low IBU session beer "bitter", and a yellow bit of adjunct swill the "King of Beers".   ;D
