I'll be out of town until Tuesday, so no brewing this weekend. But I'll be brewing schwarzbier next weekend.

Monday is the weekend, MLK day.  So here you go, doing a CAP.  Cereal mash with 5 lbs of corn meal and a few of 6 row.  The rest is 6 row.  Cluster for bittering, late hoped with Saaz, total of 35 IBU's.

One thing that you have to love, it will be a good beer, but I have $14.30 for fermentables in this (5lbs corn meal and 15 lbs 6-row).

Brewed a RIS today. Once fermented, it'll be the third beer to go through my 5-gallon bourbon barrel. I plan to let it sit in the barrel up to 6 months, then the barrel should finally be ready to sour!

1st brew of 2011
brewing 10gal red lager today after work.  only using simcoe, chinook, and columbus (and heavy handed at that), so it should pretty much smell like a pine forest -- so the name comes naturally -- Logger Lager.  split ferment with wyeast hella bock and white labs zurich lager(starter for imperial black pilsner)
