lame.  It ain't a popper if you can stuff down a dozen without needing a few kleenex, a cold glass of your favorite beverage, and some asbestos toilet paper.  Besides, there's already plenty of larger varieties of jalapenos that aren't sally strength.

Surely a red-letter day for us all:

If these are the peppers then they look like they'd take stuffing a bit better. More bulbous instead of narrow at one end.

Hopefully the produce clerk doesn't get them mixed up with his jalapenos.  I'd be pissed.

One year I planted my jalapeƱos too close to my bell peppers and they crossbred without any help from me.  The jalapeƱos got bigger but stayed hot, the bell peppers just developed a little heat like a poblano.

Years ago I grew a couple of jalepeno plants named 'fooled ya' that had litte or no heat. I had a plan to win a pepper eating contest by sneaking in my own peppers.

couldn't find a contest. Besides my scruples would have got the best of me.

Have your own contest.  Reveal the truth after everyone is done. :)
