People local to NJ - Who wants my hop plants?
« on: January 22, 2011, 10:52:15 pm »
It just occurred to me that with my house on the market (and everything else going on) I should start looking around to see if anyone wants a hop plant or two or six. Yes, the whole thing. They'll need to be dug up once we thaw out, the chances that the new owners will want them are slim.

I have a cascade, a saaz, a fuggle, a willamette, and two others I can't quite remember. One might be hallertau, the other is some high-alpha hybrid.

Let me know. I'll be asking around local as well.

My house is on the market too. I have been thinking about moving my hop plants to my shop. I have a fenced in court yard that gets sun all day.

Maybe we could move your hop plants there too. That way you could still be part of the harvest.
Beer, its whats for dinner.

I'll keep that in mind as a possibility. I have a buddy here who has some land he might let me plant on as well.
