Wyeast 3942 - Belgian Wheat
« on: January 21, 2011, 12:38:05 pm »
Anybody have any experience with this yeast?

I'm planning a Belgian Wheat and would like to give it a shot.

Apparently, It is from De Dolle.

I have not but I can tell you that you can't go wrong with wlp500 for a belgian wheat beer. Its what I use on mine, I brew with that strai once or twice a week now and it works like a champ. Pitch around 64 and raise it up to 66-68. Has a very nice spice note with light banana.

Is that what you are using at Yellowhammer for your witbier?
