Can you hook me up with your favorite beer store?

I am looking to haul some stash back over the hill,
and was pretty disappointed with the selection at the Applejack.

Close to Lakewood is a bonus.

Thanks in advance. 8)

Haven't been to Applejack in a while. Used to be good.
There is a Tipsy's superstore just off C-470 south of I-70.
What are you looking for?

Tipsy's is overpriced (despite their "new lower prices" sign).  If you're headed up I-70, Coconuts in Evergreen is pretty good.  If you want to take the time, circle around C-470 to Davidson's or Lukas Liquors.

Sorry, you have to come downtown for anything good.

Two blocks east of the Cheeky Monk, there is a little liquor store named Argonaut....perhaps some of you have heard of it? ;D
You wouldn't believe the things I've seen...

Thanks very much!

Tom, not sure what I am looking for,
never really know until I see it.  Just looking for something new and fresh.
Mostly stuff with lotsahops.

Looks like Tipsys is on the way,
Guess I won't mind it being a little overpriced..you know how tourists are. ::)

Weather looks nasty but I better git home.

Cheers.

Man, you ain't kidding about the prices at the Tipsy superstore...

That place has got to be the gaudy-est most over built liquor store I have ever been in,
no wonder the prices are so high, they need to pay for the building!
Who need to watch ESPN on multiple big flat screens and have piped in music outside whilst shopping for liquor? ::)

I won't be back there, but I did splurge for some Hop Head Red and a couple bottles of Old Crustacean.

Thanks again for the tips, next time I am over I can recall this thread,
and Vert, if I ever plan to head a bit north I will give you a shout.

Cheers eastslopers! ;)

I tried to warn you  :D
But Coconuts in Evergreen is probably your best bet next time, it's not very far off of I-70.

Realize I am way too late to this party, but for future reference - in Lakewood, I highly recommend Mile High Liquors at the Whole Food Market in Belmar (Wadsworth just south of Alameda)  Fantastic selection, lots of Belgian and off the wall bombers. Not particularly cheap though.
Beer good!

Homebrew better!
