I don't play any non-traditional instruments, but I know people who do.   ;D :P  My cousin's girlfriend is actually a remarkably good didgeridoo player.

I saw one of the (several) members of Arcade Fire playing a hurdy gurdy on stage once.  Very cool instrument.
