Well, the White House wasn't actually occupied by a sitting president until John Adams took up residence in 1800. So Washington wouldn't have brewed there. I think Washington did most, if not all, of his brewing at Mt. Vernon.
"I have no reciept [sic] for brewing," Jefferson replied, "and I much doubt the operations of malting and brewing could be successfully performed from a reciept."
They should install a brewery and serve homebrew at state dinners This is a great story for our hobby!

What came to mind was a guy dressed up, but wearing red Converse sneakers. I wish you luck.
I wonder if other countries are brewing in their White House/palace/whatever. I wonder what kind of set-up they have in the White house, hopefully they continue brewing!
