My Name is Mud.
love the line.... "gotta get 'em in the ground before he starts to smell"

Funny how I haven't listened to Pork Soda in over a dozen years but there are so many lyrics I can recall.

I haven't listened to Primus in years... But I thought Frizzle Fry was much better than Sailing the Seas of Cheese. Oh the memories. Think I got Pork Soda in a box somewhere. ???

But I thought Frizzle Fry was much better than Sailing the Seas of Cheese.

Really?  I guess there's just something nolstalgic about 'Cheese for me - brings back memories of heading offshore at full throttle on my friend's dad's boat for deep sea fishing blasting "John the Fisherman" .

Unfortunately, a lot of my CDs got jacked by my first roommate in college, but I have some downloaded on itunes.

I always liked the EP that had the covers of Pink Floyd on it.

I've only seen them once - Lollapalooza in '93 (I think - my memory is a little fuzzy from that time period).  :o

after this thread, I got the itch to make my Friday night helles brew an all Primus session.

It rocked.

I have yet to see Primus, but I've seen the Frog Brigade 5 or 6 times...  I just wish they'd play somewhere better than the Rave when they come to Milwaukee.

I liked Oysterhead a lot when they came out as well..

Huge fan! I saw them I think in '91. I remember holding my spot against the stage despite the mosh pit's attempts to dislodge me.

I was the "singer" in a very cool band in high school (I sucked, the other guys were pretty incredible musicians) that was very Primus (as well as Mr. Bungle and Chili Peppers) influenced.

On a beer related note, Primus is one of the better mass-produced Belgian lagers.
