heh, lots of good stuff here.

Yup, I wizz lotsa places, but not in the garden.
Who wants that stuff splattered up on the peppas or the basil?

Nah, I am talking about adding your nutrients gradually,
perhaps soaked in sawdust and added to compost or soil in rotting time.

I could head down to the pile every morning, but dang, then I would have to put on shoes.
I am talking about harvesting nutrients off the porch.

So, when you're finished getting the fertilizer ready does that mean it's N-Pee-Complete?

Wokka^2

I was thinking perhaps N-Pee-Komplete? ;D

+1

I get mushroom soil (compost) from the farmers in PA by the truckload for my garden.

I'll have to admit I've never gone (pee) on the garden before. Just never gave it any thought.

Does anybody else put spent grain in the compost? I usually leave about 1/8th for the birdies and put the rest in compost. Since there's so much of it, it does a good job covering up rotting smells, at least until it starts to ferment.

When I lived on a farm I always took a trip out to the compost bins to pee.  Now that I live in town, I don't think my neighbors would appreciate it.

My spent grains always go into the compost bin.

Spent grains in the compost here,
but a lot of it goes through the chickens and goats first. :)

Well, I decided to just go with Toms suggestion of a nice green patch off the front porch,
been working for a few years now,

but....I really need something out by the shop...no tree line handy!

So,
seems I have a bunch of 08 homegrown, wasting away and taking space in the freezer,
they were destined for the pile sooner or later,
and I have an old terra cotta pot laying around...

I put this out.

Not as absorbent as fine sawdust, and hydrophobic as hell...but it is what I have, and I need to get them moist for composting anyway.

Plus, it might not be such an eyesore as a bucket of smelly sawdust.

Um ya, I plugged the drain hole. :-X

There's plenty of bovine pee mixed in with the bovine dung in the barn when the farmer scoops it up in his front end loader.  Cow pee v. Human pee?

Well, people talk about Citra Hops and cat pee so maybe these could start a new trend.

Put me down for the whiz factor. I'll pee where ever I am standing at and I make it a point to let everyone know what I am doing. I gotta lota garden in my back yard and have no problem whizzing where I eat.
