beer Books?

To those die-hard home brewing fanatics

What is the must have book for great home brewing knowledge. Looking for some light reading before bed, cant hurt to learn at the same time.

Would love to add a couple of beer books to my library.

Brewing Classic Styles by Jamil Z and John Palmer is another good book.

How To Brew, of course.  Designing Great Beers is a nice book for in-depth coverage of a variety of styles (although not all are included).  BCS has a recipe for most styles and good brewing tips.  I'd also recommend Yeast, a new release that has some of the newer advice you can get regarding ferm temps, starters, etc.

i assumed he had that one, so i didn't mention it.  

to the OP, if you don't have this one, get it first.  there is an online free version of this as well.

true that.  plus, i like to have an actual book to flip through.  lots harder to cross-reference stuff on the internetz.

sweet, thanks everyone. This is a great list to start with.

going to hit up my local 1/2 priced books 1st and then go from there.

The only book I currently on came with my brew kit

I have all these except for "tasting beer".  I would agree with phillamb168 that Designing is not exactly bedtime friendly.  Brewing Classic Styles and the Yeast book by Jamil Z and Chris W are also excellent books.  The Yeast book is not very bedtime friendly as it gets quite technical.
