Good luck though, the judges are usually beer writers, past winners, and Chris Black from Falling Rock.

Went by the brewpub today and had a tasty chili beer, might have a growler of that during the comp. Dragging butt pretty badly at the moment, but tomorrow is another day. Could not find my whispering beer in NC anymore and they don't distribute it in CO. Not looking good for the home team, guess I'll wing it...

What beer were you planning to whisper?

The Patty's would be a bold choice for a growler :)   Easy drinking though, I like that beer.

I'm gonna keep it under my hat in case I need to have it in my back pocket for another year's comp. I'll make an effort to locate it (it is still brewed) if I need to...

Since my entire plan is kaput, I am now torn between Damnation, Orval and St. Bernardus 12. I think I can have the most fun with Damnation ;)

Have a blast!  It is definitely a fun competition, and the whisper is usually a highlight :)
