New Coffin Keezer

Hey guys, it's my first post on the forums so I figured I would make it count. 

I've been brewing for about 5 years and after seeing some of the systems you have all put together, I finally decided to kick my old 2 keg kegerator to the curb and upgrade to a 4 keg coffin keezer with a 10 lb tank. 

It has been a bit of a crap shoot building the thing in the living room of my condo, but here are the pics so far.  I have put together the collar and built the tower.  I've seen a lot of cool ideas for the front and sides but I am still not 100% sure what I am going to do.

Any suggestions are welcome, and the crazier the better.  The best add on idea I've had so far is mounting a yeast starter fan under one of the cubby holes on the side.








Yes, that is a kitchen knife I am using.














Well, now I welcome the constructive criticism.  In addition give me more ideas on how to make it better.

very nice work! I'd hate to see how dangerous you could be with an actual wood shop! How bout a facade around the base to hide the freezer and 2x4s?

Very nice.  SWMBO is not going to happy when I decide to try and top that.  Looks great!

I think I would wrap the freezer in something to hide the plain white freezer.

Thanks guys, I guess there are few things I am still debating on doing around the side.  I don't think I want to do strait wood because it may be too much.  I am thinking either frosted glass or stainless steel.  I will update photos when i get it done.

Wow, nice work!  When I get around to converting mine I hope it looks half that good.  I don't know that I've seen a design quite like that.  I really dig the tile.

I'm interested to see what you end up doing from the collar down!

NICE!

As far as decorating the box itself, remember that the skin of the freezer is where the heat is dissipated.....so, wrap it up tight in something with high R value, and lose a LOT of efficiency. My vote.....Diamond Plate.

If it were me, I might do something with stretched fabric.  Give it a nightclub type finish.  Or maybe paint to contrast the room decor.
