High alpha whole hops. Hard to get rid of actually.

If you grow your own hops, it's not uncommon to have several pounds on hand.  Of the 20 lb. in my freezer, I'd guess at least 5 lb. are from my Cascade crop last year.

Now I know who to call when I need some Cascade hops.   ;)

Wow I just went from perfectly content to feeling inadequate.  I only have a # of perle, a # of amarillo, 1/2# of mt rainier and a few ounces of misc hops.  +1 on the vacuum sealer and freezer storage.  Cheers, j

1/4lb each of Strisselspalt, Styrian Golding, Northdown, Challenger, EKG
1/2lb each of Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, Warrior, Target (homegrown)
1lb Cascade
Couple of ounces of Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra
2lbs home grown English Fuggles
Bristol Brewing Circle (BBC)

I am in the too many category.

Around 20 lbs spread over 25 varieties.   2 pounds on the way, and those are new varieties.

I have one pound of EKG whole cone that will go into a single 10 gallon batch.  Some more hoppy beers are planned.  They get used up, for the most part.

I buy my hops at my local more beer store by the oz.  They have good deals.

I like to support my LHBS so if I only need a few ounces of a specific hop I'll buy from them.



of late I have been trying to use only organic ingredients. so I order almost excusivly from 7 bridges as they are the only fupplier of organic ingredients I have found. I don't know that the prices are that good but given I can't find the organic stuff anywhere else I guess they are the best price around for what I want
