I don't have one and can't speak to the quality.

Don't see any mention of metal thickness nor whether it has the "sandwich" bottom.  Still think I'd go with the "update" one from Instawares (60qt for $136) as they're what Northern Brewer calls their "Megapots" which I do have good experiences with...

Looks good. polished OD and riveted handles.

As was mentioned...wall thickness? bottom thickness? SST grade?

For 30+pounds, it should be pretty durable.

I got the 20 gallon version of this, $181 with free shipping.  Why get 16.5 when you can get 20 for the same price?  ;D

Or even better, get a 20 for less, the Megapot version...

The photo makes them look small.
But those are 20# tanks, about 3-4 ft away.

Looks a like it might be the same one I got from amazon a year or two ago. Scored mine for 99$ though.  ;D Thing is heavy as crap. Well built and very durable. Well pleased with mine.

Is the burner on the right the bayou KAB4? If so i just bought one of those but noticed my existing propane tank doesnt have the right connection for it, did you have to buy a tank that fits or did you buy an adapter? if so do you know the name or model # of it?

I love my 20 gallon SS kettle (from instawares) too.
I agonized for weeks before using a step drill bit to put a hole in it and install a weld-less spigot.
Glad I did, though,  it is so much easier to just open and drain the wort that way.
I noticed that you put thermometers on the lids.  How's that working for you?   How long is the thermometer probe?
I was thinking about putting weld-less thermometers (2 inch probes) on the kettle wall just above the spigot.

The burner is a KAB6 & needed nothing extra.

The thermos are 12" long & just slide it & out of holes in the lids.
Normally, I only use them when I'm heating nine or ten gallons of liquid.
