Move general forum to top of list
« on: November 03, 2009, 11:53:59 am »
It might be a good idea to move this forum to the top of the list.  People that are new to forums frequently just post a message in the first forum at the top which in this case is All Grain.

Just a thought.

Cheers!

Good idea, James.  I'll do it.

How do you get the posts to stay in descending (IE most recent at top) order. I set it in my profile, but it doesn't seem to work.

Hey Denny and all the other admins...

How bout a last post link on the front page

How bout a full browser width option too

Also... When I post it takes me back to the index... Why? shouldn't it keep me within the same thread?

Scott, I don't know if that's within my capabilities to do.  I'll look into it.  Although, if by "last post link" you mean to get to the last post you read in a thread, you can do that by clicking on the little blue "new" box that's after a thread name.  Also, it seems to be full browser width for me, and after I post it takes me back to my poszt in the thread that I was in.  Have you played with your profile settings?  It may be in there, but I haven't been working with the software long enough to know for sure.

I just went to Look an Layout Preferences in my profile and set it to most recent on top and it works for me.
