I'm not much for following sports but a good game of Hurling is fun to watch.

Nothing like a bunch of dudes running around swinging clubs at each other. The perfect sport.  ;D

You've got to love crackheads! They'll do anything for a five spot.

+ a kazillion

Never hear of it until a couple years ago.  I was on course with work and a couple buddies & I head to the pub after supper.  They were playing a match from the 70's on the bigscreen.  WOW!  We couldn't take our eyes off it.

The first time I heard of it we were in Ireland 8 years ago or so.  Amazing!  I was sucked in right away.  We ended up in Kilkenny at the same time as the All-Ireland championships, and both the seniors and under-21 team were in the finals.  And they both won.  It was crazy!  A Guinness truck rolled in to town and folded out into a stage, the teams came through, massive party. ;D

But the sport itself is really amazing.  There is a local group, I haven't been to watch but I'm going to have to go.  Some of you might have clubs nearby too . . .
