I am planning to introduce my boss to all-grain brewing.  We will do a high gravity pale ale with Danstar Munich yeast.  It's what I like to call an Uberdampfbier.

No brewing this weekend.  I think I'm going to bottle up a barleywine and then just work on some other minor cleanup and maintenance tasks.

I have to put some DFH "mystery yeast" on the stir plate in preparation for the Madbrewer's competition coming up.

Will get a chance to relax after all the NHC prep is completed. Thank god!

I'm brewing my annual spring witbier tomorrow. Good thing I can brew indoors as it will be a typical Illinois spring high of 33 tomorrow.

Did not get to brew that IPA last weekend, so I hope to this weekend, maybe.  Last weekend we cut back the asparagus frons in preparation for the harvesting season.  Also put in some brussel sprouts, broccoli, swiss chard, Napa, and a crapload of onions.  If I don't get to the IPA I will at least make a starter for the raspberry wit I will be making soon with last falls berry harvest.

No new brew this weekend, but I need to move my IPA to the second fermenter on Sunday and dry-hop it.

I was also thinking about starting a cider for my wife.  Perhaps Strawberry or Blueberry.

Bottling my Biere de Mars, then picking up a 25kg sack of grain from a local brewery for cheap, much of which will go into an ESB.

I'll be brewing a pale ale with some Delta hops (thanks to my microbrewery). This is my second batch since I modified my brewery to include a pump, counterflow chiller and a conical in a temp controlled freezer. Still working out kinks before I do a Kolsch and a pils. First batch came out pretty good.

Denny's Rye IPA.  First time brewing it.

No brewing. Pondered a very tiny extract batch (too rainy/windy to brew outside) but stead will clean bottles and get other errands done.

No brewing, but I just kegged my Key Lime mead that I made back in December.
I've got to do some more bottling for another local (Florida) competition.

No brewing but in order to stay out of reach of the wife I'm giving the brewery a good solid cleaning.  And I may keg my robust porter this weekend.
I'd really just rather be brewing in sunny Carlsbad New Mexico

Brewed a Northern English Brown Ale this afternoon, was quite chilly outside but it was fantastic brewing outdoors for the first time. Had a bit of a time fiddling with the burner until I got it dialed in but it was also a tad windy which made the boil sort of erratic, hopefully it won't cause any problems. I did notice a bit less boil off and finished with a little more than 5ga (started with 6ga).

Pitched 2 vials of WLP002 @ 75deg and its sitting in the 60deg garage on a small bench.

All in all a great afternoon of brewing!

Cheers!
