I made Fred's Dubbel and put half on wy3789 trappist with brett.  I haven't used brett before, should i leave it in primary extra long?

I used 3789 in an Orval clone and I found this particular strain worked relatively quickly.  You may need to give it a few extra weeks but I don't think you will need to age it for many many months.

Hey Slim! Good to see you used the yeast. I have it in two batches right now. A BDSA and a Golden Strong. The BDSA Started at 1.085 and is now at 1.003. It's done and tastes great. Only been in fermenter for about 3-4 months. Golden is about a month old. Haven't cracked the lid to sample it yet. As soon as I stop procrastinating, maybe I'll bottle the BDSA and move the Golden over to glass. I try to keep one bucket and one carboy for brett beers only. Maybe if you win the NCAA 'Brew'Ket this year I'll be sending you some of my beers....
