Wort Storage?

I made some changes to my RIMS this week and was gonna run a small batch thru for calibration. I dont have the time or ingredients to do a boil. Can you store the wort without boiling? If so how long? What about freezing (Gallon Ziplocs to use for starters priming speise)?
Oops! here comes the wife (she thinks I'm working on our taxes). Gotta run, Thanks for the help.

Lagering: Sto Lat Gratzer
Drinking: Whenever I'm not working or driving

Freezing works. I usually collect a liter or two of second runnings from my mash just for starters and freeze them in jars until I'm ready to use them. Then I defrost and boil them in my erlenmeyer flask when I'm ready to make the starter.

Well, it is true. There are a couple of accountants on the forum, so that could be a plausible excuse.  ;D

I do essentially the same thing, but I boil the wort up front, pour it in a milk jug while it's still at pasteurization temperature, put some foil over the top, and throw it in the freezer. When I'm ready to make the next starter, I just thaw and use the wort.
Beer is like porn. You can buy it, but it's more fun to make your own.

I usually freeze some in old plastic Coke bottles. Then boil, chill and use it for starters.

Wow, I hadn't heard that before!  What a great way to use excess wort.  Sure beats making starter wort from DME.
