A few years ago, I felt that way, but the more I look into the kilt culture, I feel that way less and less. I feel if I do ever run into a Scotsman, he would be proud that I am honering his culture by donning the kilt.
As far as the "fascination with kilts"...... Don;t knock it till you try it. Seriously. The comfort is unmatched. Summer time, no sweating, no chaffing. Nice cool breezes. Personally, I think they look cool as crap. And have you see4n the pockets on these things?!?! I dare you to find a pair of pants that will comfortably hold 20 bottles of beer!

And, anytime I've wore my kilt out, I get nothing but positive comments on it. Not once have I taken any sort of crap for it. Nothing but high fives and fist bumps. Are they for everyone? No. It takes a certain guy to pull it off. But give it a go, and see for yourself.
