Because what the hell do people in Seattle know about key limes . . .

Now that's the million dollar question.  ;D

Good song :)

SWMBO had a girls weekend and I sent a handful of the key limes with her, she came back with 4.  The biggest one was 1 3/8 inches, the smallest was a little under 1 1/4 inches.  They are more or less round, and roughly the same size as all of the other ones I zested/juiced.

You've got to figure though, with 23 in a pound (454 grams), that's a little under 20 grams per lime.  I got about 8 mls of juice each, assume that's 8 grams . . . 40% juice, that's pretty good.  But like I said, I didn't actually weigh them, I'm relying on the package for the weight.

Buying limes... wow, there's a concept that's never occured to me.  I just pick em and juice em until I have enough.  We keep a pitcher of limeaid sweetened with honey in the fridge all of the time.  For fun I add a couple of shots of vodka to a glass every now and again.

Buying limes... huh...  What'll they think of next?  Buying honey?
