Unexpected "beer" appearance
« on: April 02, 2011, 11:57:41 pm »
Sitting here watching a tivo'd showing of "the Inside Story: Silence of the Lambs" which is a 2 hour retrospective on the movie (one of my favorites). Of course Jonathan Demme is interviewed in a bunch of sequences.

The whole time, he's wearing a white shirt emblazoned with the red Chimay logo.

ha!

so, do you think Chimay Red would pair better with liver and fava beans than a nice chianti?

so my morning routine is to feed the dog, let her out, make coffee and then sit down to the computer. first, check email, then the aha forum, then the news. so after reading your post ( & others), I'm checking out NPR and there is Humorist Dave Barry Plays Not My Job    http://www.npr.org/2011/04/02/135051860/humorist-dave-barry-plays-not-my-job  which includes another hilarious unexpected beer appearance.

No spoiler, you'll have to read through the whole article, it's at the very end. But trust me, it's worth it. It's Dave Barry after all.
