It's absolutely appalling to see the abuse of Patrick. Just plain SICK!

My wife and I have two rescue cats, a Chocolate Lab and a Yorkie Poo. We love our animals. They are near and dear to our hearts. To see and hear of this kind of abuse disgusts me. I wish I had the time to help because I would get involved.

Send your legislators an email expressing your disgust and urge them to enact tough laws. I have, doesn't take but a few minutes while at the computer.
Report any questonable situations that you might see in your community. I do, WITHOUT FAIL(got animal control's # on my phone). Minimal time investment also.

Shoot your legislators

I guess its too soon to make an inappropriate joke, but I will say I read the first three words and double-taked!

Let's keep it clean, peeps. It's an emotionally charged issue to be sure. I'd like discussion on this topic to remain open.

You and Drew should compare.  He's got a couple enormous cats, too.

Well they're 14, so the girl has lost some weight - she's down to 13 or so, but the big fat wheezy bastage is still riding tall at 22 lbs (also down from his high of ~25lbs)

Gatito

Scenic monorail cat.

Both my cats. I miss my black lab. May he rest in peace.

I'm going to have to weigh him to compare. I think he's under 20#,  just long.
