Duvel at Costco
« on: April 09, 2011, 03:29:04 PM »
Walked in to the local Costco the other day and there were cases and cases of Duvel stacked up.  $7.99 for a 750 ml. bottle.  I bought one to make sure it was in good condition (perfect!) and went back yesterday for a case.

If they have the Rodenbach at your location, it was really good too.  $15 a bottle, but worth it.  I did not get a case, just 2 bottles.

Haven't seen Rodenbach here.  AFAIAC, it's great to see something besides Ninkasi as the only craft beer there.

Great deal Denny...and great beer IMO. That beer tends to creep up on me after drinking a 750. It's been a while since I've had it but I remember it well.

Ours also stocks beers from Bridgeport and Pike.  It's good to see it them there, but I rarely want a case of anything.

Since we are talking Costco here - I just got my sale flyer.
That nice Kitchen Aid mixer is going on sale again next week. $50 off.

So tempting.  I really need to make room in the cabinets first . . .

That would be the present entity known as "Distributor"  allocated by current arcane laws.
(see the DVD titled "Beer Wars")

Sigh, no Costco here...just Sams Club and they offer a paltry selection in this location.

My wife's on her way to Costco right now for our monthly supply run.  She's going to check out the beer selection and text me pictures of any cases she doesn't recognize   ;D

Hell, it's a piece of art!  Leave it on the countertop.
