Yeah, I typically get everything clean except the mash tun.  It usually waits until the next day.
Is that a counter-pressure bottle filler in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

I'm pretty much a "none until done" kind of guy so "Stone Sober" works for me.

Tubercle brews in the afternoon so wort will at pitching temp the next morning (see other thread somewhere about his). Start crushing grain to finish cleaning and sit down roughly 4.5 - 5 hours. So I would say approximately 4.5 to 5 hours worth.

I like how you speak in the third person!  Makes you either seem like the crazy/radical brewer, or just plain crazy.  Only the flavor of your beer will distinguish that.   ;D

Crazy?  I think not!  Royalty always speaks in the third person.

I am a firm believer in the idea that good beer begets good beer.  Brewing is enhanced by inspiration from past success.  The key is to have the self-contol to maintain an even buzz.

However, sampling during a spirit run is strictly verboten.

We have a rule > Must drink while brewing to please the beer gods

That sometimes means  drinking @ 5:30am :o
Once the mash is set, its all systems GO for the first drink.

The rule is no beer until flame out. Then I'll pour a pint of something good. Safety comes first.  ;)

Usually one since I start my brewday around 8am.  Something about drink a beer before 12 noon just doesn't sit right with me ( unless it's Patriot's Day when the Sox are on at 11am )

Not to mention that I usually start by 9 AM and I just don't want to drink beer that early.

Remember, you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning, ;D

I'll have one during tte boil, one during chill, many more after cleanup.

I do the same.  Hot grains into a Glad bag = melted plastic & a mess!  lol

I bury my spent grains in the back yard while the boil is rolling.
Usually I start my brew day at 9 or 9:30 AM so I don't have a beer until after noon, but like Denny sometimes you have an event away from home where people are constantly giving you beers starting early in the day.  I guess the more people spectating the more likely you'll either make a mistake or have somebody tell you you're about to make a mistake.  Some of my best and worst beers have come from these events.

I pour the first one after dough-in (usually around 1 or 2 PM), but don't have more than three or four before clean up.
