Tastebuds
« on: April 11, 2011, 08:13:54 am »
I've been sampling beer every few weeks and my tastebuds are finally coming back around I think.  I can drink Red's Rye PA and Centennial IPA without my mouth and face contorting.   ;D  My wife picked up some Bud last night and I tried that too... believe it or not, the first couple of sips there is actually taste the hops, they're floral... then they're gone, lost in the rice or something.   ???

Anyway... I'm able to drink a few now and again... again.   8)

Welcome back.  Although, if you can really taste the hops in Bud, maybe your recovery isn't quite complete yet :)

Well, it only lasted a couple of sips so there is hope for me.   :D  The others were great though... love that Red's Rye, its amazing.  I was so happy I drank three of them before I knew it.   ;D
