Massachusetts Home Brew Competitions

Does anyone know of any upcoming Massachusetts or New England Home Brew competitions coming up?  As mentioned in my last post I entered the North Shore competition and didn't do as well as I hoped, but you have to keep trying and keep improving.

Check both the AHA & BJCP web sites. Both have competition calendars.

I think I heard Sam Adams Long shot entries are due in May.  In the fall, there is a Northern New England Regional comp put on by Brew Free or Die and the Southern Maine homebrew clubs.

edit:  also the Greg Noonan Memorial Comp in VT has an entry deadline of April 29th.

I've checked the calendars before but there was nothing mentioned.  This post was to see if there was any smaller events that might not get a many submissions.

Does anyone know of beginner-specific competitions?

The Battle of the Brews in Delaware is not 'beginner specific' but this is its first year and so may not have as many entries as some of the older, annual competitions. They take mail in entries too. Registration closes June 1, but entries will be accepted until July 10.
