I've never had the stopper problem, perhaps you're not seating it properly?

As to kegs for primary fermentation, I always seem to have problems getting them to seal when not under pressure.  How are y'all addressing this?
Is that a counter-pressure bottle filler in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Theoretically, an all grain beer should have all the nutrients it needs already.  In spite of that, I've started using yeast nutrient.  Does it make a difference?  Maybe.  Does it make a big difference?  Nope.

Is that pragmatic?   ;)
