as in Victory malt?  How is it?  I've been tempted to use it for the name alone, but haven't...

I like the beers I have made that used Victory and in fact now I just keep some around
so it is available if the urge showes up to brew a beer using Victory.

I've got an IPA fermenting now that was about 70% Munich, 20% special aromatic, and the rest Victory.  I think Victory has a kinda toasty, slightly nutty flavor.

This was a goofy reference to "Apocalypse Now", but I do like the Victory malt. But I'm brewing at the moment, and my kitchen smells like mashed grains. I truly love the aroma. (Though the rest of my family is still undecided on this issue) :D

Time to upgrade the family!  ;D
Is that a counter-pressure bottle filler in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

I like Apocalypse Now... and Victory malt. I use about 5% in my APA, and it definitely lends a nice toastiness to the beer.

Victory malt: it's better than napalm!  New marketing slogan?

I use victory in just about any APA, IPA and AAA. It's a great accent malt. I also love the smell of mash. There's a brewpub across the street from my office and I can smell their mash every thursday when they brew.  Makes me a little jealous!
