Sam Adams Winter Classics
« on: November 11, 2009, 05:00:12 pm »
I just bought a 12 pack of Sam Adams called Winter Classics.  Coastal Wheat was in the box of twelve.  It's a wheat beer with lemon flavor.  Would this really be a Winter beer?

no, but if you're trying to market your newest style, why not put one in your best selling variety pack available at every Costco, Sam's Club and package store... ;)

Boston Lager, Winter Lager, Coastal Wheat, Cranbery Lambic, Holiday Porter and Old Fezziwig Ale.  So to answer you question, no they did not.

I buy these 12 packs all the time...and my beer fridge has a bunch of the Carnberry Lambic sitting in the way back.  If it wasn't for these packs, I don't think they would make these any more.

Old Fezziwig is one of my favorites in this pack!

That beer needs to be a year rounder or at the least availible in six-packs and cases during Winter

Cranberry Lambic makes a nice base for a salad dressing or in a Cranberry muffin/bread mix

So is Old Fezziwig not available in six packs during the Christmas season?
