The 2 liter growler is called a "siphon" in Germany.

Very interesting the language they use in product describing.

Thanks. Those are the ones I'm looking for. I've emailed them to see if I can lay my hand on a couple.

You can get them from Northern Brewer   http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewing/brewing-equipment/bottling/bottles/2-liter-growler-standard-handle.html

I know. I want to get one in Europe, and Northern Brewer don't ship internationally. Plus, it would be rather like sending coals to Newcastle. ;)

Sorry about that, if I looked at your tag and saw you are in the UK I would of realized my reply was of the mark.  I blame lack of coffee and not enough sleep!  ::)

I've also been put in touch with the producer in Germany and am waiting to see what they come back with.

Trunky, do you want one?

If it's not too late I'd like to jump on this bandwagon. I'd probably be down for 2 or 3.

I've just been in touch with them, and will keep you posted.

I'd never considered then until now, but, yes I'll take one or two.
