Trapped a possum last week in a trap I set out when the feral cat population gets too large. That thing had a rather large mouth that I wasn't going to risk a bite from.

I was looking through the meat isle at our local Wegmans and saw they had dressed rabbits for $35 apiece.  :o

That's crazy!  I like rabbit but there's no way I'd pay $35 for one.

They're 5-7 euro/kg here. $35??? I guess if 1. you don't have a lot of demand for them and 2. they're fed on gold leaf-wrapped Japanese pygmy carrots, you could justify the price... I mean it's not like they're hard to raise.



Easy and very cheap to raise. $35 per rabbit is just nuts. I need to start raising food bunnies!

Maybe that gives you an idea about the amount of Mark Up on the price of meat
@ the store in general....methinks it is boosted quite a bit!
