Yesterday I was in being or not to being in Stratford upon Avon, and after having enjoyed some real ale and good food at the Dirty Duck I was strolling back to my hotel and passing Cox's Yard read on the sandwich board that Fish would be performing that night....

Lo and behold, the man himself with an acoustic guitarist and keyboard player. Apparently the show was sold out, and there were a bunch of peeps with tickets from the December show which blizzarded out, but 17 quid got me a ticket from a bloke in the bar....

So there I was, three feet from the stage, 10 feet from the man, and when he yelled "are there any requests?" and I yelled "ZOE 25" he sang the damn song....

Now, if you understand what all the above means, you know this was one of those moments for me....... life is good.

Honestly, from the title, I thought this belonged in a cooking thread, so no, I have no idea what you mean. But, if you're happy, I'm happy for you. Fist bump from this direction.

That's a damn good tune, it's just a touch too mellow for me.  I will say that there's serious talent in his lyrics, voice and band; lightyears better than the garbage most people call music. Before today I had never heard of fish or merillion, so thanks for the post. If you ever have the time and willingness, PM me a list of your fav bands.
