There is a big mess to clean up. We just picked up the empty milk jug...

This is a big step, but this is far from over. I'm worried about the reprisals.

Killing bin Laden was the ultimate reprisal.  Terrorists are cowards.  They are scared now.  Their hero died at the hands of a US Navy SEAL Team.  Terminal lead poisoning of the brain.

What will terrorist do today that they wouldn't have done yesterday, if they thought they could get away with it?

Don't you know Gaddafi's okole is puckered up tight today!   You're next on the hit list Mo!

Yup, but I firmly believe that the "keystone" that held AQ together is gone. It is a trembling mess. It will fall as
it has been for a while. I am not saying they will go down without a fight but I believe that many will see that
it is much more like an uphill battle to keep up the fight, than to just quit...

There aren't too many of the "Deck" left. Ya know? I think we have weakened Al Qaeda to the brink.
I pray that they realize that even with martyrdom they stand to lose much more that they stand to gain...

My belief, my opinion, my view of a half full glass...

It doesn't explicitly say women does it?

My alarm clock radio woke me up to this fabulous news. This is great news for the US and the world. I am very pleased that we remained vigilant and got that satanic bastard. It's about time we got hime. Congrats to our men and woman in uniform and all whom have aided in his demise. The world will be a much better place without this demon.

I will raise a pint tonight to this great news.  8)

A huge thank you to everyone involved in the takedown. The end of an era? Yes. The end of his ilk? Sadly, no. Let this be a lesson to all that would perpetrate evil on innocent people. Pakistan can kiss my ***.

The Nation of Islam?  Louis Farrakhan?  Almost anything he says is interesting, if not hilarious.

Hats off to the operators that got it done, and the intelligence groups that lived up to their names getting this fellow rooted out.

I hope that in the moments before he died, he felt fear and terror, like he inspired in so many before they were killed.

If we really want to show them what freedom and democracy are all about, we'll have to stick it out for another 10 years or so - rebuild schools & hospitals and have an entire generation of boys and girls pass through those schools.  Hopefully, when those kids take for granted that freedom and education into adulthood, we may be able to walk away.

If we leave a power vacuum, some other dog will try to set up shop...

I'm sure he felt fear and terror, but probably not as much as the woman he hid behind.
