OK, of the posts so far, beersk definitely wins.  Lighten Up, Francis.  That's beautiful.  Event Horizon.  Genius.  8)

I have named every beer from my first.  And I keep the wife engaged in my obsession by getting her to design labels.  Some favorites (the most recent ones have a distinctly dog theme):

Wooly Husky
Furry Bandit Colorado Black Ale
Burning Dog Pale Ale (bad brew day that time)
Wet Dog Vienna Lager
Soupy Poop Oatmeal Stout
Use the Schwarzbier  - "May the Schwarz be with you"
Abbey Normal
Belgian Slut
Ricochet Biscuit (a brewing buddy gets the credit for this one)
Demon Pumpkin (much cooler when you see the label)
Hopcorn Lager
Da Vinci Mild (named for the robot that operated on my wife a week ago)
A Steamy Summer in New Orleans

Why thank you, sir.  Abbey Normal is brilliant also.  If I brewed anything Belgian, I'm sure I'd have thought of that also.  Love Mel Brooks...

I am working on a baltic porter that will be named "word champion porter" or "gold medal porter" or similar.  this is named after my son's high school wrestling coach (last name porter) who took the world freestyle wrestling championships last summer in switzerland.

I wasn't going to go there, but I can't imagine too many women would want a beer named after them in that way.  :)

Yeah I think that's her point to. But it's with yeast, with wife. Didn't say it was a good idea, just an idea

I named one after my wife.  I called it the Flighty Blond.  I was not rewarded for that.

I find that just putting the beer in a glass can have the same effect and reduce the, er, risks of artistic license with beer-naming (see angry wives comments, above).

I was careful to avoid the temptation of a double entendre.  I agree to some degree with the beer vs laid correlation, here it peaks at two pints then drops off significantly.

Theres a name for you, Dubbel Entendre.

If that's your goal, you really need to start making mead.  Do that right, and it's like the old Hai Karate ads.
