Shiner Ruby Redbird
« on: May 09, 2011, 11:18:35 pm »
I try almost all their releases.

Summer seasonal beer with Texas Ruby-red grapefruit and ginger. Pale crisp lager with light bitterness. A hint of grapefruity citrus and a definite ginger bite. Wish it were a bit sweeter but this beer is fairly refreshing as it is.

Not something I'd want to get bombed on but nice after spending some time out in the yard in the sun. I'm pleased that Shiner is continuing to expand their beer making horizons. Now if they'd make a real bock or alt then there'd be cause for celebration.
