When my wife got it, she installed a fold down rear seat bed so she could go camping.

Yeah.  "Camping." Gotcha.   ;)

Which brings us to the bumper sticker thread: If this van's a rockin', don't come a knockin'.  :D

If I know, I'll post.  But there's no guarantee I'll be on it.

Wish I lived closer denny I would love to take that bus off your hands. I've owned a ton of bugs but never a bus, always wanted one. My wife and I stop and look at everyone we see. Got any picts?

This is all I've got...you can kinda see the curtains in the back window.  When my wife got it, she installed a fold down rear seat bed so she could go camping.

Well, you certainly wouldn't want to jump in the back of the van with any of those guys. :)

We're all thinking it Denny, just some won't post it  And some haven't read it until after Gordon, so there's no point in being repetitive. ;)

End of the story....got my pitcher and mugs appraised yesterday at the Roadshow.  Turns out it's a "cider set" made by Royal Doulton in the late 1800s.  The appraiser was impressed that I had all 6 mugs and it was ll in pristine condition.  He said he'd never seen a full set before.  He told me that it should be worth more than it really is but there's little market for it.  Bottom line was $450-700 for the whole set and you're not gonna see me on TV!  6000 people got tickets and appraisals and about 60 will be on TV.  3 1/2 hours of standing in line for 2 min. with an appraiser....and I'd do it again if I had the chance!

All I know is that they'll air 3 shows from Eugene sometime between Jan. and June next year.  I won't be on the air.  The big deal was a guy who brought a Norman Rockwell painting they valued at $500K!

Cool on the Roadshow Denny!

Ya know, there's a guy in Eugene that puts american V8's/ drivetrains in those old VW buses as a business.  I always smile when a bus gos screamin' by me, uphill, on I-5.
