I refuse to put anything alcohol-related on my vehicle. I got enough trouble as it is.

I used to have a VW Scirocco I spray painted black and then spray painted "Charlie don't surf" on the hood in white.

I thought about buying an electric car, but now I'm thinking I could just build one that burns coal directly for much less.

You should seriously consider restoring it. Those are really nice fixed up.

Oh, and then add some flowers and peace signs. :)

It would still be a gas guzzling death trap.  I'd be happy to just get rid of it, but it was my wife's first car and she has sentimental attachments.

I wasn't suggesting it become a daily driver, but it would be fun to use when going to concerts, beer gatherings, etc. or just for Sunday drives. Of course this also depends on your state's insurance laws and what it would cost as an occasional use vehicle.

A red bumper sticker that says "If this sticker is blue, you're driving too fast"

I've got one on my 76 VW van (no longer running) that says "Honk if you see parts fall off".

Ha! awesome.

If that thing has peace signs and flowers painted on it, I want pictures. :)

No way.  Stock green and white paint job.

You should seriously consider restoring it. Those are really nice fixed up.

I always thought "Plenty of leg room.  Knees optional." would be good for a VW Microbus.
Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

Well, uhm - you can't freakin see it unless you are holding the hemet. It's about 2 inches and 24 point type. I'm not that dumb to put a huge bumper sticker on my helmet that says "catch me". But nice assumption. Sheesh...  ::)

So, what's the point if no one can see it? :)

As rider I know... If you can read it you are too close. I've had people right up on my rear wheel nearly touching it. It shows contempt for cage-drivers.

I refuse to put any stickers on my vehicles except the one's that I'm forced to- like registration and inspection. Oh, and the parking garage permit at work. The truck I bought from my dear old dad has the round Marine Corp insignia sticker and the Sheriff's Association "Don't Drink and Drive" sticker. Out of respect I left them on.

I've always thought "Hang up and drive!!" was a good sentiment for a bumper sticker.  Of course in Des Moines I would prefer people look at the lights and not at my bumper.  If you ever drive here count to 2 before moving on a green light, you'll thank me.

The quote from Apocalypse Now, or the Clash song?  Works for me either way...

"Hang up and Drive" should be painted on the bumper from the factory.

It's just a helmet sticker. If you ever hung out with people who ride motorcycles you'd understand. Some people have their helmets covered. I have one sticker. Its supposed to be funny. Now sorry i posted anything about it.

Well I thought it was funny. Thanks for posting :)

Best bumper sticker I have seen, and mainly because it made me laugh while driving home after getting dumped was

"Fat people are harder to kidnap"

"Creativity is the residue of wasted time"
-A Einstein

"errors are [...] the portals of discovery"
- J Joyce

As I accelerated away I yelled to the driver of the little canister vacuum cleaner looking hybrid thingy, "Hey Moonbeam, learn to use your F-ing turn signals or next time take the F-ing bus!"

Awesome story, bro. Maybe after third period we can find some kids to beat up behind the 7-11.

Oh...  Was that you in the llittle canister vacuum cleaner looking hybrid thingy Moonbeam?  Oops... sorry.

My local home brew store has one I find hilarious "I'd kill you for a beer."

I have a bit of a sadistic sense of humor though.....
